Every time a bride submits her wedding personally, I get a little verklempt. You understand.
Same deal with today’s wedding; I totally choked up over her email. And then I took a look at her pictures…
You guys. I have so much to say about this wedding, that I am completely at a loss for where to start on this wedding. So I’m going to take a tip from the bride Estefania herself. The images, shot by the brilliant Fran Russo, shall speaketh for themselves today.
P.S. – happy almost Valentine’s Day, my hunnies! I hope you love today’s inspiration. And I hope you aren’t sore at me for being insanely new-house-busy the past couple weeks :( Anywho, sit tight! Serious candy-colored V-Day inspiration headed your way tomorrow-style (OBVS). I think you’re really gonna love what I have to show you!
Some words from Estefania:
I am Estefania, and I live in Barcelona, Spain. I’ve been a huge fan of the knotty bride since I’ve been engaged, and it was a source of inspiration for me! love it!
We got married in a beautiful Andalusian vineyard, hidden in the mountains of Malaga, it was the perfect place for us, our little paradise…
We decided to get married at sunset, under the shade of a century old oak tree at the hill top and the spot was so magical!! It was a very intimate wedding, only our very close family, so we wanted the guests to feel cozy and loved. We prepare evertything with lot of love, and it really worth!
We had dinner in an Andalusian patio, and light and lanterns crossed all the patio from side to side creating a whimsical atmosphere, and the tables were filled with flower arrangements and candles amongst other small details to make it special. I think we got it right! I loved how the tables looked! We also decided on a table of desires, which was a huge success amongst our guest leaving Cristian and me lots of beautiful memories of this day! It sounds like a topic, but it really was a real fairytale.
^^ One of my fave rituals – Honey and I actually plan to do it. Plant a tree you guys, it’s so cool!
Thank you to Estefania for sharing your beautiful day. You both looked STUNNING throughout. (Can I borrow some genes?) Congratulations on your fresh newlywed status!
So what did you guys think? Are you loving the details like I am?
And I’m curious- anyone have plans for Valentine’s Day as of yet? Are the plans sex?
xx, Alison
